About Me

Sean’s introduction to the real world of politics came after his first year at Wilfrid Laurier University when he was hired as a summer intern by Sarnia-Lambton MP Roger Gallaway, PC.  During that summer, he signed his first Liberal Party membership form and has not turned back.  Sean has since worked on two federal electoral campaigns - Roger Gallaway’s in 2006 and Tim Fugard’s in 2008 - and one municipal electoral campaign - James Grant's in 2010.  In 2006, Sean worked primarily as a canvasser, but by 2008 had stepped up to fill the roles of speechwriter, researcher, and communications specialist.  In 2010, he was Campaign Manager for the Grant campaign.  From September 2008 until December 2009 he acted as Secretary of the Sarnia-Lambton Federal Liberal Association (SLFLA) and was chosen Vice-President of Communications for the Association in January 2010.  He created the SLFLA’s blog in 2009 and continues to maintain it.

Outside of politics, Sean plays hockey in the winters, and softball and baseball during the summers.  Sean’s reading interests vary from international affairs and environmentalism to Rolling Stone magazine.  His other passion is music, with a variety of listening interests from Frank Sinatra to the Rolling Stones to Darkstar.  He currently lives in Ottawa.
